The Spanish interrogative pronouns used in modern usage are: qué, cuál and quién. They are actually relative pronouns, used to express questions
Unlike simple relative pronouns, interrogative pronouns always have an accent.

*Notice that when the role the pronoun plays within the subordinate sentence is not nominal, but rather accusative, dative or prepositional, it is preceded by a preposition: a, de, para, con, etc.
